It didn’t take long for the Bet The Beach combined 2025 calendar to need some updating. With the Beach Pro Tour announcing some schedule changes late last week, and some more clarity from the AVP on the league qualification events, an update was necessary.

The most major change was a reclassification of the BPT April event (10th-13th) in Saquarema from a Challenge to an Elite 16. This conflicts with the first AVP League qualifier, which means that event will have limited participation from USA athletes (and likely Brandie and Mel.)

The BPT added a few summer events, including a Challenge event in Turkey June 12th-15th that will conflict with AVPL week 3 in Miami, Florida. They also moved the Stare Jablonki Challenge from the fall to June 26th-29th, a conflict with the AVP Contender event in Virginia Beach. The BPT also added another event in Brazil, this one a Challenge from July 24th-27th, an off week for the AVP.

With some additional information now available from the AVP on the League qualifying events, I added the two, single day, single elimination, sixteen team qualification events on April 12th and April 26th, both at Huntington Beach, CA. Together with the Heritage Series Huntington Beach Open, the three events will qualify the remaining teams for the 2025 AVP League season.

One last thing, 🙋 hand up, I mistakenly had labeled the final Beach Pro Tour event of the season as the ‘Beach Pro Tour Finals’ on my first iteration of the calendar. That event, held in Adelaide, Australia from November 14th through the 23rd, is the Beach World Champs.
